Korxx Cork Building Blocks Review & Giveaway

KORXX cork blocks are a unique and durable building material unlike any we've ever touched before! My kids loved creating elaborate structures with these beautiful natural blocks.

We were sent both a KORXX Color Form set and a KORXX Cuboid Natural set to review.  Made of renewable cork these building blocks are sustainable, durable, and versatile for construction and open ended play. KORXX is a family based German company that is now available for sale in the US through Oh Toys!

My preschooler E does not usually prefer to build yet she was immediately drawn to KORXX. Unlike wooden or plastic blocks KORXX are more forgiving during construction. The traction created between the cork blocks allows children to create structures that would topple with other blocks. This boosted my daughter's confidence as she worked!

KORXX blocks appeal to all senses.  From the smooth texture to the beautiful shades of colors to the quiet nature of the cork they are soothing and irresistible for all ages.

Our toddler loved investigating the soft yet sturdy blocks as he build tall towers. The rounded corners are inviting for little hands.

We love the simplicity of the natural blocks but as a teacher I was immediately drawn to the versatility of the colorful set. There are so many opportunities for sorting by shape and color and making patterns with KORXX colored blocks.

It was a pleasure to watch both of my kids play cooperatively together with KORXX. Our preschooler E didn't even mind when her toddler brother toppled over her structures because it "wasn't too loud!" If your child is sensitive to loud sounds these are the perfect building material.

  17. I have never heard or seen these before, but they are so awesome looking. I am amazed how they can take cork and create shapes and colorful ones at that. My kids would build towers and buildings and probably see how far they can stack them until it falls or even a game like destroy the tower and re-stack them up once again. Awesome giveaway, thank you! :)
