Our kids love sensory play! We're learning shapes so we created a sensory squish bag with triangles, circles, and squares. It's irresistible to touch and talk about in the window or on the table. It's super easy to make, too!

We love to practice fine motor skills through play! This Halloween activity was perfect for developing pre-writing skills while feeding the ghost. It was super simple for me to set up and the kids loved it!
Introduction to Multiplication with Spiders
We love spiders! They seemed like such a natural way to introduce multiplication as repeated addition to our daughter. It's a seasonal idea with spider rings, too!

We came up with a fun and seasonal game for kids that is super simple to set up for a Halloween party! It also has the added benefits from being an oral sensory exercise. This Spider Race game resulted in tons of giggles, too!

We're in the full swing of fall over here! We've been tallying pumpkins in our neighborhood and trying process art with them, too. I challenged our daughter to practice her How To writing skills this week by describing how to carve a pumpkin as a fun fall writing prompt.
