Photo Finger Puppets for Kids

By Devany LeDrew | Labels: , , ,
Use your child's photo to create a personalized finger puppet for hours of fine motor fun! This homemade puppet is super simple to make and sure to make your kids laugh!

We used craft foam for the body and clothing of our puppets. The pieces stay together with tape but I did reinforce with staples with more durability. For the legs we used a hole punch to make increasing larger circles until our kids' fingers could fit through.

As soon as our toddler D saw his puppet he laughed out loud! Our preschooler E had so much fun acting out scenarios with the puppet of herself and her little brother. Create a whole family of puppets or make a set for the classroom. Children can decorate their own outfits with markers, stickers, and washi tape!
