It's almost Valentine's Day so we used heart stickers to play this body part game. You could adapt this for all holidays or use any type of sticker any time of yearWe started silly by asking, "Can you put the heart on your nose?"

I just had my son's preschool parent teacher conference today so I learned which body parts he still needs to learn to identify. As a Kindergarten teacher, I know that sometimes preschool and Kindergarten students still need help reviewing parts of their body especially joints such as the shoulder, elbow, hip, and ankle.

We played much like Simon Says but another variation is to have the kids name the parts when the teacher asks, "Where is your heart sticker now?"

We reviewed that our body belongs to us. I made sure to tell the kids that they could ask a friend for help if they didn't know a body part but no one should put stickers on someone else's body without asking. In our house, the same rule applies for hugs, kisses, and tickling. You must ask before touching someone else even if it is in a loving way!
