Reusable Contact Paper Easter Egg Decorating

We love our contact paper rainbow so much that it's still up in our window! My daughter asked to decorate Easter eggs in the same way once she saw the contact paper egg that her toddler brother made.

This activity is so easy to prep yet it keeps her attention for a long time. I cut out the contact paper in egg shapes and tape it sticky side facing us to the window.

The decorating process is fine motor practice. I offered a variety of confetti, ribbon, scissors, transparent counters, and fuzzy fabric stars this time.

E independently works some math concepts in there with patterns and counting. She has left the rainbow as it was the day she created it but she's revisited and redecorated her Easter eggs many times. The contact paper has stayed sticky as she rearranges the pieces.
