Llama Llama Red Pajama is a favorite book in our home. We also like the other books in this series including Llama Llama Nighty-Night, Llama Llama Mad at Mama, and Llama Llama Holiday Drama. Which ones have you read and liked? There are so many! When we decided back in January that this book would be our feature for this month, I knew our kids would be thrilled!

I printed the Llama Llama Red Pajama door hanger from Anna Dewdney's website. We colored and cut out only the llama (and his stuffed animal, of course) then glued him to the back of a construction paper quilt that I turned into a grid. I chose three by three for the size since our daughter is currently really into playing tic tac toe! This would create a version that we could play again and again featuring one of our favorite story book characters! We used squares of pretty colored paper to be our markers instead of the traditional x's and o's. As we played we completed the pattern on his blanket!
