We love subscription boxes and my pre-teen daughter was ready to try a new one when I learned of Moon Box! It arrives each month before the full moon with the intention that you open it during the full moon. It is inspired by that month's full moon's name so all of the contents for May were flower themed to honor The Flower Moon.

I cannot believe the amount of goodies they were able to fit into this box! And I love that they are handmade and nature inspired. This made it so much more meaningful than corporate subscription box services.

Let's dig in!

It's really difficult to pick a favorite item but this is in my top three. This mini flower press is genius! I have pansies in it not but next spring I can't wait to use it to press violets in memory of our Violet, of course. I never press flowers in books and was considering purchasing a press but this one takes up less space and is perfect.

Speaking of Violet, of course this poem reminded me of her short life as well. So beautiful and true! I now see her everywhere after the darkness. I also love that they hole punch the poems (and the moon fact card and the recipe) so that you can put them all on a ring as you collect the other months' content. The hole punches are flowers and they are reinforced on the back. These whimsical details are what I fell in love with most.

The Flower Moon Activity Book contained information on flowers and pollinators, riddles, Madlibs, a word search, yoga poses, and much more!

A beeswax flower candle that naturally smells wonderful. I think this was my daughter's favorite.

Another favorite of mine! The memory game includes the scientific names of the flowers and that pouch is filled with more cards. I love Moon Box's commitment to eco-friendly packaging as much as possible.

This bag of lavender is larger than it looks and came with a recipe for lavender cookies.

I love amethyst and I love this stamped bag as well! Each box contains a gemstone.

Every subscription includes something edible, too. I love this dainty jar of honey which is perfect to go along with...

Flower moon tea!

I immediately subscribed for more months of magical moon goodness! The next time we will open ours outside as it is summer then we plan to sleep under the light of the full moon. I hope it is an experience my daughter always remembers because I know I will never forget this bonding mother-daughter time together. Thank you, Moon Box!
