Virtual Zoology Class for Homeschool Kids

By Devany | Labels:
One of my favorite virtual classes to teach is Zoology! I've always loved to learn about animals and this interest shines through in my teaching. This weekly science course covers so much fascinating content!

I created this Zoology class for homeschooled kids in 2020 when my oldest was in 5th grade. She had peers who were being homeschooled suddenly and unexpectedly. This class was designed to support lots of parents during a difficult time using my expertise - teaching!

I'll be offering the weekly classes again for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The content is appropriate for students ages 8 and up (all the way to high school seniors!) but I have occasionally made exceptions for younger learners who can be independent (or have parent assistance) using Zoom. Please contact me to discuss!

Class times this year are 12 pm eastern on Tuesdays or 12 pm eastern on Wednesdays.
When you email me to register, please let me know which of these class times your child plans to attend most of the time. You are able to switch week to week if there are scheduling conflicts. I do not record my classes to protect the privacy of the students. If your child needs to miss both class times, please reach out to me and I will send you the class content.

There are three tiers of participation:

1. You can register your child for the entire school year for the greatest discount.
All 33 weeks will be only $300 which works out to $9.09.
The deadline to register for the full year discount is Sunday, Sept. 1.

2. Another option is by season which works out to $11.36 per class.

Fall - $125 for 11 weeks (Sept. through Nov.)
The deadline for fall is Sept. 1.

Winter - $125 for 11 weeks (Dec. through Feb.)
The deadline for winter is Nov. 27.

Spring - $125 for 11 weeks (March through May)
